Hello! We’re Ritu and Raj, proud parents of Aarya and Arohan, and the local owners of Primrose School of Rockland. As parents, we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find a school that offers exceptional care, trusted safety, and a strong educational foundation. Our own experience with Primrose’s Balanced Learning® approach inspired us to bring this nationally acclaimed early education model to the South Shore community. With backgrounds in technology and a shared passion for nurturing children, we’re dedicated to creating a warm, home-like environment where every child feels loved, curious, and confident to grow.

Catherine Dawley

Director of Operations
Catherine brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in early childhood education, with a strong background spanning Infant through Kindergarten programs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Human Development, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Before joining Primrose School of Rockland, she served as both Assistant Director and Center Director at a large multi-classroom center, where she led curriculum development and teacher mentorship. Passionate about creating nurturing, engaging classrooms, Catherine is excited to bring her expertise and enthusiasm to support every child’s learning journey.

Rebecca Morin

Assistant Director
Rebecca’s journey in education began after her honorable service in the United States Navy in 2010. Since then, she has pursued studies in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education and gained extensive experience working with children across multiple age groups. As both an educator and a mother, Rebecca brings a deep sense of empathy, patience, and understanding to her role, believing that early education lays the foundation for lifelong learning. She is passionate about helping children discover their strengths and is excited to contribute to the nurturing, family-centered environment at Primrose School of Rockland.
Safe & Sound

Safety, Health, and Well-Being Come First at Primrose School of Rockland

We take health and safety seriously at our daycare center. If a child or staff member has a fever, they stay home until they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours. Classrooms, toys, and shared surfaces are cleaned and disinfected regularly, and handwashing happens several times a day as part of everyone’s routine.

Teachers are trained to watch for early signs of illness and use classroom signs as reminders to stay alert. For infants, crib sheets are washed daily. Older kids have their own blankets and cots, which are cleaned weekly.

Every staff member completes safety training, including CPR and first aid, and each classroom has a custom safety plan posted for quick access. We conduct emergency drills monthly so everyone knows what to do, and our classrooms usually have fewer children per teacher than what’s required by the state.

We toured a number of daycares before our son was born, and honestly, we knew Primrose was the one within minutes of meeting the owner, Ritu. I’ll admit — I was skeptical at first because it felt like such an easy “yes.” I kept wondering: Could this place really be that amazing? Are the children really that happy?

A year later, I can confidently say that our first impression was absolutely right. Above all else, this school is safe, secure, and nurturing. I know my son is being truly cared for every single day.

From the very beginning — when we were sending our four-month-old to school — the frequent updates (and adorable photos!) meant the world to us. Even now, those updates are still the highlight of my day. And now, having been at Primrose for a full year, he loves going to school. He absolutely adores his teachers.

And the teachers? They are pure gold — kind, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. They go out of their way to share meaningful progress, encourage new skills, and celebrate each milestone. They each get cake on their birthdays – which is adorable!

Additional small — but incredibly helpful and meaningful— details: Primrose provides meals once your child turns one (a sanity saver on busy workdays!), there’s a dedicated car seat closet for infant carriers, the kids get to enjoy organized water play twice a week during the summer, and my son is often “making artwork” that he brings home to share with us

In the spirit of providing a truly balanced review, I tried to think of constructive criticism. My only small critique is that many school-wide updates are shared through the app without being filtered by classroom or age group, which can make it a bit harder to sort through what’s relevant. That said, I’d much rather be over-informed than under-informed, so this is truly a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.

Wonderful school that has thought about what both working parents and kids need to thrive.

I love the experience my daughter is having at Primrose School of Rockland. The teachers are fantastic, as a mom I can tell they took time to bond with each of them. My wife and I live in Hingham and have two children at Primrose School of Rockland. My kids, aged 3 and 5, have very different personalities: Both are happy, thoughtful, and well-adjusted, but one is big, outgoing, and expressive; the other is more reserved, circumspect, and contemplative. Both of them have flourished at Primrose.

They have both made big circles of the best and kindest friends.

Our kids come running out of class every afternoon full of excited stores about new things they learned, built, and thought about that day.

This is a place where education is taken seriously, and a love of learning is inculcated. My son, a precocious preschooler, currently reads on a third grade-level. He devours books at home. It isn’t just that he’s a smart kid; the anonymized test results for his class show remarkably outsized improvement for all of his classmates from the beginning to the end of the year.

My kids (and my wife and I) have loved every one of their teachers, all of whom have been positively stellar. The administration is proactive, always available, and communicative.

Classroom and playground facilities are new, clean, and well-maintained.

After having issues at a previous daycare, we decided to send our child to Primrose. What a change for the better! The staff are all excellent and caring, they are amazing with communication and share so many pictures with the easy app system that gets set up. It’s not a daycare it’s truly a learning experience for the kids with a curriculum. My son is much more prepared for Kindergarten and truly will miss Primrose. Ms. Ritu has been a pleasure to work with and would recommend this school to anyone.
